Using reusable shopping bags made from cotton fabric is a great way to reduce your consumption of plastic bags. These bags fold up into little self-contained pockets that tuck neatly in your bag making them easy to have with you all the time (improving the odds that you will use them!).
This download includes patterns to make 4 different sized bags ranging from 9" x 11" (23cm x 28cm) up to the XL size 16" x 18.5" (41cm x 47cm). The patterns for bag sizes large and x-large have 2 different size handles - one designed to be carried by your hand, the other size to hang off your shoulder.
