Understanding the Commitment and Sacrifices of the Military and their families

Individuals who have served, are serving and will serve in the various branches of the military and the reserves deserve the utmost respect not only from us as individuals but from the federal government. They deserve to be recognized each and every day by us and by the federal government. We are lucky to have individuals who have a commitment to serve our country and make sacrifices to protect our way of life. The world is a different place then when many of us grew up but even then there were individuals who made the commitment to serve.

Commitment and sacrifice is not something that is right for every individual it takes a certain kind of individual to leave his family and friends to serve often times in multiple foreign countries. It is not about serving once in any foreign country but many times there are multiple tours of duty as they are called. Living abroad in a strange land speaks volumes about the character of individuals who serve in the military and it also says something about the character of their families and friends who support them in their commitment to protect our way of life.

Today there are those who want to see our way of life disappear but we as a country must never let that happen. This is what these individuals do for us though many times serving in a foreign country does not always mean that they are in a safe environment but they do it anyway.

The information in this book is about identifying the values each of the branches have initiated and the commitment to those values by those serving in the military.
