The Origins of Child Sexual Abuse Practices in Guyana

The historic significance of this statement in relation to Child Sexual Abuse Practices can be traced to 1819. Sir Eyre Coote, a Hero of the Napoleanic Wars was caught in the act of sodomy by a House Master at Eton. Sir Coote was tried and dishonourably discharged which led to the removal of his knighthood.

Yet the conversation which Sir Coote had with Eton's House Master at the moment he was caught was etched in time in memorial. Sir Coote, the Pedophilic Perpetrator bumptiously flaunted his social status as being entitled to do as he pleased.

He asked the House Master,

"Do you know who I am?"

The House Master replied:

" Who you are I do not care; what you are I plainly see."

TRAVESTY GUYANA is written in the hope of the eradication of Child Sexual Abuse as a Social Problem in Guyana. It is a call for every Guyanese citizen to build a society which is safe for the Children of Guyana.
