This agency has seen much controversy over its regulations and the decisions it has made. I am all for protecting the environment but the basis of some of the decisions not only lack logic but also integrity principles. I agree that not all of the decisions fall into this category but there needs to be some common sense to the actions it takes.
Climate change seems to be a big part of the agenda for this agency which has yet to be justified based on the information available. Many of the decisions and the regulations are hurting our economy and citizens all across the country. There needs to be a new focus to instill common sense with regards to the impact of the decisions being made and whether the decisions justify the impact on the environment.
It is not just the decisions being made but the cost impact to individuals and businesses across this country with little or no impact on the environment. The processes involved in the structure of this agency needs to be reviewed in detail to determine if the regulations and the decisions based on them are in agreement with legislation passed by Congress. There may be instances where regulations and decisions being made do not have a clear connection to the law or the Constitution. It is important to connect their actions to the law and/or the Constitution and allow economic growth to survive without imposing high cost for businesses to survive.
While it is true that some decisions are within reason some are not. One involves an individual to make decisions about their own property and not have ridiculous decisions imposed on them which have no basis in fact. Property rights need to be protected from government interference.
