I am a retired PR professional researching and writing about the Battle of Normandy.

Since childhood, I have been interested in the history of the 2nd World War.

A visit to the German military cemetery Orglandes in Normandy, where my grandfather is buried, sparked my interest in the Allied landings and the 2 ½ months of fighting in Normandy.

In 2011, I published the 1st edition of my D-Day guidebook in German language, which has been followed by 7 more editions to date. 

In 2022 I published the first edition of the English version of the guidebook.

I also offer virtual tours (ZOOM) of the landing beaches during the fall and winter months, and work as a guide in Normandy during the summer months.
