This project focused on designing a welcoming, multi-generational living environment that supports both comfort and accessibility. The space was thoughtfully planned to accommodate extended family members staying with their parents while meeting the specific needs of an autistic grandson and a wheelchair-bound mother. The design balances warmth and hospitality with inclusive strategies, prioritizing clear circulation paths, ADA-compliant accessibility, and intuitive wayfinding. Sensory-sensitive elements such as controlled lighting, calming material selections, and reduced visual clutter were incorporated to create a supportive atmosphere.
