Education is not regulated to the classroom. There are constant opportunities to learn in the daily walk of life. “You learn something new every day” is a philosophy Ashley Martin lives by. She successfully blends her love for educating, encouraging, and empowering others into dynamic conversations, coaching sessions, and classes geared towards young and old. With a degree in Psychology from Scripps College (Claremont, CA) and a masters in Educational Leadership from St. Thomas University (Houston, TX). Ashley began her teaching career with Teach for America in Houston, TX. She taught third grade for several years and then transitioned out of the classroom and into campus leadership. Ashley has also brought her passion for education into other arenas including the faith-based community. She recently published Focus: A Handbook for Leaders, a tool that gives leaders simple, effective strategies for creating focus to yield greater productivity. Author, educator, encourager, mentor, and friend are a few of the ways many see Ashley. In her own words, she sees herself as “chosen to help others- young and old- reach their full potential.” It is said that big things come in small packages, and Ashley is no exception. Ashley is a New Orleans native and resides in the Houston metro area.
