• Since Hrothgar Ears are attached to the head, If you wish to use modded ears, you will need to remove vanilla ears from Hrothgar head.

If you are using Everyone's Emores, these are recommended swaps (models sharing the same body armature):

• M Hyur midlander → M Miqo'te or M AuRa
• M Hyur highlander → M Miqo'te or M AuRa
• M Viera → M Miqo'te or M AuRa
• M Roegadyn → Hrothgar

• F Hyur midlander → F Miqo'te or F AuRa
• F Hyur highlander → F Miqo'te or AuRa
• F Roegadyn → F Miqo'te or F AuRa
• F Viera → F Miqo'te or F AuRa

*Male elezen will need animation rescaling in order to use other race's animation.

Remove Vanilla ears

Miqo'te

Vanilla Miqo'te ears are separate into 2 parts:

• Ear Fluff: The fluffy layer of the ears, this layer is attached to Hair
• Ear Flap: The skin layer of the ears, this layer is attached to Face

How to get rid of those Vanilla ears:

• Ear Fluff: Install earless hair
• Ear Flap: If you are using vanilla face model (No Sculpt) install ear flap hider*;

If you are using face sculpt, please check the sculpt description to see if there is an option to toggle off your ears.

A lot of miqo sculpt will come with an option to hide the ears so you might not need to install it these mods below.

Ear Flap hider mods (NO LONGER WORKS AFTER 7.0)

*Please beware that some ears hider will modify your face texture or face model, if you are using makeup with custom normal map or custom sculpt, these will overide your face.

Ear holes on Vanilla hair

Vanilla Miqo'te and Viera hairs always come with hair hole on them, If you are using one of my custom ears, you either have to use modded hair without ear hole or install patched ear hole mod.

if there are no mod that patch ear hole on specific hair you are using, you will have to patch them yourself using Blender/3DS Max or Maya.
