Instructions:

PART 1: STRAWBERRY BODY

  • RND 1: Using red or pinkish-red, start by making a magic ring (mr) and 3 chains. (The 3 chains do not count as a puff stitch.) Then make 5 pff sitches into the magic ring, 2 chain stitches, and make 5 pff stitches. Repeat this 2 more times so you have a total of 4 corners. Fasten off by pulling the yarn through. Before making a slip stitch (ss), make 2 chain stitches, and in the first chain stitch, make a slip stitch (ss).

  • RND 2: Slip stitch into the next space, chain 3, and make 5 pff in the same space, then chain 2 and 5 pff in the same space. *Chain 2, 5 pff in the next stitch, chain 2, 5 pff in the same space.* REPEAT this 4 times. You should have 8 pff stitches [2 pff in every 4 spaces]. After finishing round 2, chain 2 and slip stitch into the first chain.

  • RND 3: Slip stitch in the space, chain 3, then *(5 slip stitches in the same space, chain 2, and 5 pff stitches in the same space. Chain 2 in the next space, 5 pff stitches, chain 2, next space)*: repeat from (**). Then you have a total of [12 pff]. 2 pff stitches, then the next space, 1 pff stitch, 2 pff stitches [example: *inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc *] before the end of the round, slip stitch in the first chain.

  • RND 4: Ver imágenes Slip stitch into the 3-chain space, and pffd, *(chain 2 then pffd)* 6 TIMES, chain 2 and slip stitch into the first chain. You should have [6 pffd stitches]. NOW STUFF INSIDE THE STRAWBERRY, fo, then stitch back and sew.

PART 2: MAKING THE LEAVES

{* WORK THIS ROUND IN THE REMAINING SPACES*}

RND 1: 1 ch in the first space, 7 ch, [total of 8 chains] STARTING FROM THE SECOND CHAIN FROM THE HOOK, *(sc, hdc)* repeat again to the last stitch. The last stitch of the chain should end in a sc. REPEAT THIS SAME ROUND 4 TIMES, SO YOU SHOULD HAVE A TOTAL OF [5 LEAVES]. (THE SHAPE OF THE LEAF WILL LOOK LIKE A STAR).
