THE FEAR OF GOD...

To have a fear of God is to recognize his majesty, his power, and his holiness while deciding to live a life pleasing to him. Whoever fears God chooses to obey, submitting to him and repudiating sin. He does it out of love and out of respect for Almighty God. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction “Proverbs 1:7kjv” And to man, He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding. “Job 28:28kjv” probably refers to the revelation of his will that God gave to Adam after his fall. He had previously sought wisdom in a forbidden way. When he and Eve saw that the tree was pleasing to the eyes and a delicious tree to make one wise, they took and ate.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FEAR GOD - For an unbeliever, God fear is to fear God's judgment and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God. The dread of God is something entirely different for a believer. The believer's fear is reverence for God. This is a good description of this, "Therefore, having received an unshakable kingdom, let us have gratitude, and through it serve God-pleasing him with fear and reverence; for our, God is a consuming fire." This reverence and admiration are precisely what the fear of God means for Christians. This is the factor that motivates us to surrender to the Creator of the Universe. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God “Hebrews 10:31kjv” But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has the power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! “Luke 12:5kjv”

We have no reason to be afraid of him. We have the promise from him that nothing will be able to separate us from his love. He has assured us that He will always be there for us. To fear God is to revere Him to the point where it profoundly affects our life. God fear is to respect him, obey him, submit to his discipline, and worship him with admiration, for I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. “Romans 8:38-39kjv”

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with things you have. He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you. “Hebrews 13:5kjv” Let your conversation be without greed, etc. While seeking to correct desire, at the same time, he asks us to be content with our present. Stuff; because it is the genuine contempt for money, or at least a true greatness of mind in the correct and moderate use of it when we are content with what the Lord has given us, be it much or little; for it indeed seldom happens that anything satisfies a covetous man; but, on the contrary, those who are not content with a moderate portion, always seek more, even when enjoying the most incredible wealth. It was a doctrine Paul had declared that he had learned, to know how to abound and suffer want. Then, the one who has set limits to his desire to accept his fate with resignation has expelled the love of money from his heart.

WHY WE SHOULD FEAR GOD - It makes us complete people, in this case, genuine Christians. As men and women of God, we must not ignore the fear of God, we must know everything about the love of God, Peace, and prosperity, but we must also understand and make part of our lives the fear of God.

That makes us complete Christians. All these things must be merged into God because doing so will help us understand who we are as God's children and where we are headed. God brings wisdom and fears, God brings with it, when practicing it, learning from above.

In the Bible, we can see the case of Job. The best thing that can happen to a Christian is the ability to walk in truth and serve God with sincerity of heart, which is made possible by the fear of God. The fear of God gives you the possibility of having complete security that you will not be deceived because God is faithful and did not deceive. And if there is no deception in God, you will live in truth because God makes you accessible.

When you live the fear of God, thousands of things can happen around you which will not disturb your peace. Walking in the truth of God is an essential step to achieving various goals in our lives, which perhaps we have set for ourselves for a long time, and thanks to the fear we have of God, they can begin to flow and appear. Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble “Proverbs 15:16kjv” The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: 'He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in fear of God. "2 Samuel 23:3kjv."

THE BENEFITS OF FEARING THE TRUE GOD

IF ADAM had cultivated Godly fear, it could have prevented him from committing the sin that resulted in his eternal death and thousands of years of pain for his offspring. Had the ancient nation of Israel followed Jehovah's counsel to fear and love him, they would not have taken her captive to Babylon, rejected God's Son, or been guilty of shedding her blood. If the world today feared God. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil "Proverbs 3:7kjv."

It prevents us from doing what is evil. The fear of God prevents us from doing what is evil. Those who deeply respect God do not decide for themselves what is good and evil. They do not regard as bad what God says as good, nor do they accept good things that God says are bad.

A Psalm of David. Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. “Psalm 37:1kjv” In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the LORD, one departs from evil. “Proverbs 16:6kjv”

Protects us from trembling before men. A healthy fear of God also protects us from the fear of man. Most people are influenced by fear of man to a greater or lesser degree. Even the apostles of Jesus Christ abandoned him and fled when the soldiers seized him in the Garden of Gethsemane. Then, in the high priest's court, Peter, bewildered and gripped with fear, denied that he was a disciple of Jesus and said that he did not even know him.

Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.” Then they all forsook Him and fled. “Mark 14:48-50kjv”
