If we want to live lives full of wisdom, make the right decisions, and walk in the path of blessing, we must have a fear of the Lord. Fearing God implies recognizing him as the Creator, the source of life, and everything that exists.
Recognizing the greatness of God and our dependence on him, we will take time to listen to his voice and receive his direction. As a consequence, our decisions will be wise, which will bring us joy and blessings. Wisdom begins with the fear of the LORD; those who follow His commands have good comprehension. His praise endures forever. “Psalm 111:10kjv”
Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling “Psalm 2:11kjv” Serving the Lord with fear means having a deep sense of dread about the repercussions of failing to serve and follow him. That is, help him not by opposing but by furthering his purpose to establish a kingdom, with the deep apprehension that if you do not, he will rise and crush you in his wrath. No other made-up gods or idols which are not actual deities in the first place, should be worshiped, but sometimes are unknowingly. Our Lord God, is worthy of worship, including Father, Son, and Spirit.
