This year really did move fast. It’s honestly wild to think it’s already been almost a full year since I opened my Etsy shop and launched my own website. What started as sketches on an iPad slowly turned into a growing collection of digital designs, products, and ideas that I’m incredibly proud of.
Behind the scenes of all that creativity, you’d usually find me laid up in my recliner. Blanket over my legs, iPad balanced in my lap, and some kind of sci-fi series playing in the background. Not exactly the glamorous “boss life” people imagine, but very real, very me, and honestly where my best work happens.
This year taught me that creativity doesn’t need a perfect studio or ideal conditions. It just needs consistency, heart, and a willingness to keep going even when things feel slow or uncertain.
When it comes to customer favorites, a few designs clearly stood out. My sherpa blankets quickly became top sellers, especially as the colder months rolled in. There’s something special about seeing a hand-drawn design turn into something cozy that families actually use and love.

Another standout this year was my Blue Toile Goose seamless pattern, which found its way into so many creative projects. Seeing customers use that pattern in their own designs, crafts, and products has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

This year wasn’t about perfection. It was about learning, growing, experimenting, and showing up even on the days when motivation was low and the to-do list felt overwhelming. And somehow, sketch by sketch, it all added up.
As I head into the new year, I’m carrying forward everything this one taught me: create what I love, trust the process, and keep building something meaningful, one design at a time.
Thank you to everyone who supported my small business this year. Whether you purchased, shared, liked, or simply followed along, you helped make this year possible. And I’m just getting started.
