First of all, the very first decision you must make is ... who is the audience that you want to create this blog for??? For me, this was easy ... I wanted to design a blog around new business owners who want a resource for finding the answers to their business startup questions. I wanted the blog to be very personal and intentional, so people could identify with me, while also providing accurate and detailed information on topics that are hotspots for frustration ...
Next, I want you to know that there are about one million hosting platforms to choose from (once again, that's a tiny bit of an exaggeration). You need to decide if you want your blog to be included on your business website or an entirely separate site. Then you need to decide if you want to host it on a free platform, or if you want a self-hosted website which would involve some financial investment. Oh my goodness ... so many choices ...
