For my friends birthday last year I decided to make them a card using pressed flowers from my garden. They shared with me that their favorite colors are dark green and the colors of fall. With that bit of information I started searching through my pressed flowers for a color palette they might enjoy. I ended up using a diablo cosmos, the petals and seeds from cempōhualxōchitl (cempasúchil / marigold), pieces of a fern, pistils from a rhododendron, and pieces of a petal from an unknown flower. I made the diablo cosmos the center piece and placed all the other flower bits around like confetti. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Below I've shared a couple photos and videos of the process for you to enjoy.
