On Sunday, April 6th, Gatherings by HB had the absolute best time at Bridal Wars Central Louisiana! Hosted at the stunning Bayou Haven Weddings and Events, just outside of Alexandria, LA, this wasn’t your average bridal show—it was a full-on celebration of brides, besties, and a whole lot of bridal fun.
Bridal Wars is part show, part competition, and all energy. Think lip sync battles, relay races, bridal challenges, an Ugly Dress Fashion Show, and, of course, the chance to meet amazing local wedding vendors (hi, that’s us!).
We—Hanna Broom (Owner & Lead Wedding Coordinator) and Peyton Cannon (Assistant Coordinator)—spent the morning setting up our booth and braving the slightly chilly weather (🥶) with excitement and smiles. Our booth challenge? A Bridal Cheer-Off! Each bride squad created a cheer all about their leading lady—and let us tell you, the creativity, team spirit, and sheer volume did not disappoint. 📣 From sweet rhymes to sassy chants, we loved watching each group rally around their bride.
The day was filled with laughter, movement, and major wedding inspiration. We got to chat with so many beautiful local brides planning their weddings in and around Alexandria, LA, and it’s always such a joy to connect with couples as they gear up for one of the biggest days of their lives.
Bridal Wars gave everyone a chance to let loose, have fun, and bond with their bridal party—and we were thrilled to be a small part of the magic. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, brought the energy, and made us laugh!
