Subtitle: The Church’s Mandate to Carry and Manifest His Presence

By Norman Morea Trent Sabadi

From the Ark to the Church

At first, I thought it was a "quasi-glory-carrying" to profess that Glory was carried in my being to a certain degree but not to the fullest. I considered that it was not yet the fulness of the Glory—the “Resurrection-Rapture Glory” that would transform our mortal bodies to become immortal. Then, as redeemed bodies, death would no longer have power over us, that certainly is the glorious end state we shall reach, which also is God’s intent for us. Paul correctly stated the current working process of the Holy Spirit in us as going “from glory to glory.” And I agree.

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Paul, with complete belief, embraced the prophetic promise “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:12-13)

Paul could see the end already and continued to exhort the Church about it, that the abiding work of Christ in us, is to cause us to have “Hope.” Not any kind of hope, but one that believes with gladness, that our established destiny is Glory and Eternal Life. What an awe-stirring thought. Then shall we finally depart from this undesirable mortality, and enter into divine immortality, ordained in Christ.

Colossians 1:25-27

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the Word of God; even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the Glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory:

As a Revivalist and one who has experienced the Power of the Anointing upon my life, I cannot in any way belittle the depth of encounters I have received from the Lord. I cannot take lightly the manifested Power poured, many times, upon my earthen vessel,

To consider Glory-carrying as only quasi—having some resemblance of the ‘full’ Glory upon our beings would be to think of it as less and not as effective. Therefore, not as sublime as “the Ressurection-Rapture Glory” to come. From a human point of view that sounds right. But from a prophetic viewpoint, the Glory, as it is, (in the form and fulness ordained for us) is meant to rest on our earthen vessels to fulfil God’s intent. God does not see it as less than “the coming Glory.” If it must come first to us, at varying degrees, then it must. I now see why God has intended it this way. So that the more we abide in the Glory of the Word, the more the Glory transforms us. According to the Divine Plan for Revival, the Glory is purposed to intensify upon our beings as we deepen our understanding, encounter and experience of the Holy Spirit and His weighty Presence. Our axiom would then be “What the first Adam lost in the Garden of Eden, the second Adam, which is Christ, restored, when He carried out God’s redemptive work to reinstate our place as beings abiding in the Glory.” And this time it would be a permanent, everlasting work.

A key factor that must fill the chasm between mankind’s current state of sub-prophetic nature and the Divine Glory is “the Knowledge or Revelation of the Glory.”—This we must catch from the Holy Ghost. Many want the Revival Fire but don’t know that they need the Mentorship that teaches us how to receive, carry, and release the Glory. Included with this Spirit-led mentorship is the demonstrative aspect of His Glory in our lives—That is Revival.

Adding to this, a special requirement to carry the Glory is to be endowed with the Anointing, which is the hosting attribute that receives, carries and releases the Glory. The Revivalist Anointing (as a Mantle wearer and Glory Carrier) is assigned to do exactly this.

On that note, we mustn’t think to settle with a conjecture because we lack sufficient experience of His Glory. Rather we must pursue the greater intent which God has for us, to be Mantled with His Glory, girded with His Truth, and fully immersed into the Power of the Anointing resting upon us.

I described from a vision from God in my first Revival mentorship book, “Chosen to Carry the Glory—Carry the Fire of Jesus”, that the Glory that rested upon the Ark of the Covenant was the same Glory that rested upon my being. The Ark of God, in itself, contained the revelation of this truth I am now presenting to you. Our being, body, soul and spirit are intended by God to carry the fullness of His Glory.

So it is not a question of the effectiveness of the Glory. Rather, it is about the Church’s lack of revelation or partial insight concerning “the Abiding Glory.” This prodigious privilege has already been given to us and the only thing left to do is receive Holy Spirit Mentorship to learn how to “host the Glory.”
