This Thanksgiving, Gratitude Has a New Meaning

This year, Thanksgiving feels different. It feels deeper and more sacred than ever before.

Many of you already know that my family has walked through some painful valleys. We faced moments that tested our faith, our strength, and our hope in ways I never expected. But today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude because my son, our miracle, survived something that could have taken him from us. His resilience, his laughter, and even the quiet rise and fall of his breathing remind me every day that God still works in ways we cannot explain.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.

Psalm 136 verse 1

I am more thankful this year than I have ever been. I am thankful for family. I am thankful for prayer. I am thankful for every person who held us up when we were struggling to stand. And I am thankful for every sunrise that reminds me that life always gives us another chance to hope again.

This is not just a parent’s story. It is a human story. Whether you are raising children, walking your journey alone, trying to rebuild your life, or dreaming alongside the people you love, I hope you pause for a moment this Thanksgiving and notice the quiet miracles happening in your own life. Gratitude is not about what we have. Gratitude is about who we become when we choose to see our story through the eyes of hope.

From my family to yours, I pray your table is full, your heart is light, and your spirit is lifted. May you find reasons to give thanks today and every day that follows.

If my son’s survival has taught me anything, it is that gratitude is the bridge between pain and promise. This Thanksgiving, I invite you to walk across that bridge with us.
