A Sunday Reflection for the Soul
There are seasons when it feels like the light has forgotten your name.
You wake up, but the morning doesn’t sparkle like it used to.
You smile, but your heart doesn’t echo back.
You pray, but the silence feels louder than the words that leave your lips.
I’ve lived through those seasons — the ones where faith feels like holding a candle in a storm. And if that’s
where you are right now, this is for you.
Because the truth is, the light never left.
It was only waiting for you to slow down enough to notice it again.
Sometimes God hides the sunshine so we’ll learn how to glow in the dark.
Sometimes He lets us walk through silence so we’ll hear our own heartbeat — the one He kept steady through every storm.
Sometimes the unanswered prayer is mercy disguised as mystery.
And when the time is right, when your spirit is ready, the light finds you again — not the same, but softer, stronger, and surer.
You see, His light doesn’t just return to you. It rebirths you.
Every scar becomes a window. Every tear becomes a lens.
And suddenly, even the pain starts to shimmer with purpose.
🙏 A Prayer for the Ones Waiting for Morning
In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit,
Lord, when our hearts grow heavy and our hope feels dim,
remind us that Your sunrise has never failed us once.
Teach us to find You not just in answered prayers,
but in the patience, the pauses, the in-between.
Let Your light reach the corners of our hearts that we’ve hidden away.
Where fear whispers, let faith sing louder.
Where doubt lingers, let grace stay longer.
Where darkness sits, let Your presence dwell.
Thank You for loving us even when we lose sight of You.
And thank You for finding us — again and again.
In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
📖 Today’s Verse
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
— John 1:5
If this spoke to your spirit, take a deep breath and whisper, “The light found me.”
