It's essential to look within when dealing with these forces. In my experience, some spells from books have worked, while others have not. The spells I've created myself, however, have had the most immediate impact. These spells are unique because they come from my communication with deities and spirits, rather than any book. This approach is about challenging the unknown and understanding if there are any repercussions. Not everyone needs a justifiable reason to do spellwork. It's vital, in my opinion, to do readings and divination before any spellwork to determine whether it should be done.
Unfortunately, many practitioners ridicule "baby witches," a topic I've discussed in my previous blogs. Some people seek me out, buy my books, and attend my classes, sometimes with the intention of testing whether spells cast on me have any effect. They might even offer to pay me for spells, trying to siphon my energy and powers through manipulative energy exchanges during consultations. Despite my warnings against using magic to harm innocent people, some still attempt the old spells I've taught, curious to see if I possess real strength and powers to overcome them. However, this manipulation of energy can be reversed, returning it to its rightful owner.
As I approach my fifth year as a witch since June 2019, I reflect on the profound journey I've undertaken. Each day brings new experiences and opportunities for growth, whether through mastering new spells, deepening my understanding of ancient rituals, or connecting more intimately with the spiritual realm. The challenges I've faced and the wisdom I've gained have made me a more powerful and compassionate practitioner. I'm grateful for every lesson from both the seen and unseen worlds and continue to embrace the endless possibilities that magic offers.
There's a wealth of research and hands-on learning that can take years to perfect. I always advise people to perform their own spells rather than paying someone else, as one's own energy is the strongest in spellwork. Some may be tired or lack the necessary energy, tools, or experience. My spells often take at least an hour to a few hours to set up, from writing them down in my Book of Shadows, gathering the tools, creating a cone of energy, and infusing the spell with my energy. It's a lengthy process, but all the energy invested manifests in real life.
As I finalize this book, I find myself contemplating whether to make it available to the public or keep it private for my students and clients. It's a decision that weighs heavily, as the power and responsibility of spellwork are not to be taken lightly.
Exploring occult knowledge doesn’t always require delving into complex spellwork or elaborate rituals. Many aspects of the occult focus on understanding philosophy, symbolism, and historical contexts, which can be deeply enlightening on their own. It’s important to remember that spells don’t always need candle magic or elaborate tools to achieve desired results. Simple practices, such as using words, incantations, and straightforward techniques, can be just as effective. By studying these fundamental elements and the symbolic language of esoteric traditions, you gain insights into the underlying principles that guide these practices, proving that the essence of these traditions often lies beyond the ritualistic aspects.
