5 Signs You Need Instagram Strategy Help

We all know that Instagram is a great way to reach your potential customers and improve your brand visibility. But if you don't have a strategy, it's easy to get lost in the sea of content.

If you are a wedding vendor or wedding professional and you are not getting the results that you want on Instagram, it might be time to start thinking about getting some help with your strategy.

5 Signs you need help with your Instagram strategy.

What is an Instagram strategy, and why is it important?

You need to clearly identify what your business goals are first, before thinking about Instagram marketing. Your Instagram strategy is everything you intend to do and hope to achieve by using the platform. You won't get the results you desire by posting whatever you want, whenever you want, without keeping your business goals in mind. Your strategy is what helps you stay focused on those business goals.

In this article, I will share 5 signs to help you determine if you need help with your Instagram strategy.

1. You don't know what to post.

Not knowing what to post is usually what you notice first when you don't have a strategy in place. Every Instagram strategy includes content pillars, (3 to 5 topics you will talk about all the time in your content that relates back to what do and who you do it for) so that you're not left guessing what you should post and why.

2. Your audience isn't growing.

Another sign that you need an Instagram strategy is that your audience isn't growing. When you're posting regularly and you're still not seeing any growth, it means that your content isn't resonating with the audience so they have no reason to hit the follow button.

3. You're not posting consistently.

This is directly tied to number one, not knowing what to post. Being consistent on Instagram doesn't mean you post 3- 5 times per day. It means that your audience can expect to see content from you on a regular basis, not once in August and 4 times in December.

4. Your efforts aren’t generating leads, sales or website traffic.

Nothing is more frustrating than showing up every day on Instagram and not seeing growth in your business. If your efforts are generating leads, sales or website traffic, you mostly aren't creating content that will inspire your audience to get off of Instagram and go deeper into your sales process.

5. You feel mentally exhausted because it doesn't seem to be working.

It's natural to feel discouraged when your efforts aren't generating the results that you want, but if it's been going on for a while, it may be time to take a break or get some outside help. Especially if you're starting to think that it's pointless to show up.

If you're experiencing these signs, don't be too hard on yourself. You're not alone. I have experienced this myself and so have our clients.

All of this is happening because you don't have a strategy, or at least one that's designed to help you consistently create content that gets you the results you desire.

But that doesn't make you a failure or a bad business owner, because marketing on social is still a fairly new thing.

It often seems effortless when looking at it from the outside, but in reality it can be complex and time-consuming. And if you're currently wearing all the hats in your business, it might be time for you to get some help with your strategy.
