And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [Hebrews 2:15]
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [2 Timothy 1:7]
Because of the fear of dying people get bound to sin in pursuit of "living for the moment" trying to find fulfilment for their joy, with such hopelessness of a life never to be lived again.
Because of this fear, Satan uses it to entrap people in sin in pursuit of gratifying their own flesh (which in reality is a rebellion against the LORD) for he knows that the moment the people are awaken to the truth of eternal life in Christ Jesus no longer will he have power over their minds to control and stir their hearts towards earthly desires.
For for the day that humanity realize the state of life it had in the beginning in the presence of God, it shall no longer desire the fallen nature of mankind which is dead because of sin, but through righteousness [Romans 12:21] shall desire the very nature (image and likeness) of God which was in the beginning of mankind, to which comes only by faith in Jesus Christ as it pleased God the Father that in him should all fullness dwell.
The Lord said to Apostle Paul , delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. [Acts 26:17-18]
