I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am the LORD, That does all these things [Isaiah 45:7]
The evil of God is to bring righteousness, for the sake of His divine sovereign holiness, for God judges in perfect justice and delights in mercy. God caused evil in ending the first world because of the wickedness that was in that world and preserved Noah for his righteousness.
God caused evil upon the land of Sodom and Gomorrah because of the wickedness in Sodom and God preserved Lot for his righteousness. The peace of God goes without saying, which surpasses all human understanding, the peace which guards our mind and our hearts in Christ Jesus.
Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: Yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
[Isaiah 42:23]
The prophet emphasis this fact that if you are a living God do one of these (good or evil) so we may be dismayed.
Shall the trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not be afraid? Shall evil befall a city, and the LORD has not done it? Surely the LORD our God will do nothing, except He reveal His secret unto His servants the prophets. [Amos 3:6-7]
Amos confirms this truth that is God who is sovereign above all and does nothing in secret. There is no good nor evil that God has done without letting us know.
Even in the first world He told Noah of what was to come upon the world. Even at Sodom God made it known to Abraham and Lot before He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
Even at this present time God made it known the evil/punishment everyone is to be subjected under if they do not obey everything that the Lord Jesus Christ has commanded.
All this revelations also answers the questions of why would God send people to hell if He is a loving God. (All these evil that the LORD has caused is a punishment from a loving Father who is Holy and Pure).
God not only does He send people to hell but He reward the obedient with everlasting life. And hell itself was not made for humans but for the Devil and his demons; yet humans in their rebellion against the LORD choose to partner with the Devil and his demons to rebel against God, which ultimately results in humans also sharing the same punishment meant for the Devil and his demons.
Do not put a blame on the LORD because of your own desires for wickedness. He created all things yes, but He created all things for Good pleasure [Philippians 2:13] not for evil or lust.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He Himself tempts no man. [James 1:13]
God did not bless Cain for the murder of Abel, nor blessed humanity for the disobedience of Adam.
And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. [1 John 1:5]
Wherefore God gave them up in the lust of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves: for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [Romans 1:24-25]
Even after death God remains the same; for He is true who was, and is, and is to come. Many people have this false knowledge that after death you cease from your responsibilities for your actions on earth, but this is not so, for if you look at the parable that the Lord Jesus Christ used to reveal this truth you will realize that whatever you do on earth indeed you shall answer for it:
Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, faring sumptuously every day: and a certain beggar named Lazarus was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table; yea, even the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and that he was carried away by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: and the rich man also died, and was buried.
And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things: but now here he is comforted, and thou art in anguish. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that they that would pass from hence to you may not be able, and that none may cross over from thence to us.
And he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house; for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead. [Luke 16:19-31]
The LORD our God is one, The LORD our God is LORD over all creation.
