THE REVELATION OF KNOWLEDGE
"And The LORD God said, Behold, The Man is become as one of Us, To know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever". [Genesis 3:22]
Man (Humanity) Do not know a thing unless it has been Spiritually Revealed or unless it has been taught. You either come to know something through acquired knowledge passed on unto you by teaching (which includes observation, imitation, and practice), or by Spiritual Revelation (Dreams and Visions).
It is the Spirit that teaches all men all things, for man only knows the difference between what is good and what is evil. This is our inherited ability passed on to all man through Adam and Eve's transgression in the garden of Eden.
Since then all things are Spiritually descended (taught by the Spirit) it is man's choice and ability and his decision to choose between good and evil; for the Spirit of God teaches ONLY THAT WHICH IS GOOD and it dwells in men. And it is the Evil Spirit that teaches what is contrary to what the Spirit of God teaches.
"And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new Spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; that they walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God". [Ezekiel 11:19-20]
"And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the Spirit of Wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office". [Exodus 28:3]
"And The LORD spake unto Moses, saying, see, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in Wisdom, and in Understandings, and in Knowledge, and in all manner of Workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship.
And I, Behold, I have appointed with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all that are wise-hearted I have put Wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee:" [Exodus 31:1-6] [Exodus 35:30-35]
Therefore, Man through their decisions choose constantly between good and evil, for this is the only ability inherant to man. You must, however, test the Spirits to see if they are truly from God.
"Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but prove the Spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And Every Spirit that confess not Jesus is not of God: And this is the Spirit of the Anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already."

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good; abstain from every form of evil". [1 Thessalonians 5:21-22]
A man after learning things taught by the Spirit, through experience is then able to teach others of the same, whether he be truthful to the teaching he received or deceptive in passing it along. Apostle Paul emphasis this fact in 1 Corinthians 2:13
"Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Spirit teaches; combining Spiritual things with Spiritual words". [1 Corinthians 2:13]
