A short introduction from the designer of al these encaustic art collections.

I am a dutch artist and I graduated in 1992 as a drawing and crafts teacher in the Netherlands. Over the years my artwork has developed in the field of mixed media art.

The graphics and digital art you find on this site are digitalised and finetuned details from my encaustic Art paintings.

All my designs are often inspired by the love of nature, botanical elements such as flowers and plants and very often animals and birds.

You will also discover beautiful abstract and expressive forms. Themes like meditation, awareness and spirituality are sometimes represented in colourful and wonderful abstract compositions.

Mostly my work is joyful; playful; sensitive and shows profound interest in organic shapes and structures.
