I am a Brit, married to an Italian, living in the US, with a serious passion for creating with yarn. Originally taught by my English granny (I still have the jumpers she knit and now my daughter wears them), I create elegant, luxurious designs for daily life.
I am a scientist by training, with a PhD in Chemistry from Cambridge, and I always loved art class. The combination of these facets of my personality is, I believe, why I love thinking out patterns and studying them, thinking of how best they can be conveyed, ensuring consistency, readability and “knitability”!
