If you have followed me for a while you know I primary work for a Fortunate 500 company. I have worked for this company for almost 30 years now. I am a Serial Entrepreneur that became another job venture on it’s own. If you would asked me about 10 years ago would I have imagine to be in this particular place in business. I would have said NO. I have played it safe up until 2021. I did small things but would never step out to do anything big or take any huge risk.
Therefore, if you have been following me as I stated you know I stepped out on Faith and purchased a trailer to convert into a Food Trailer. I have a vision that may not align with anyone else’s but I see the bigger picture not the right now. The #1 thing is to start up debt free that means use my personal cash flow to get the trailer converted and up and running. I am a year and 4 months in and we are about 50% converted. I am at a stump but my goal is to have it completed by the 2 year anniversary of my purchase. Now keep in mind I am not married to this date because again I have a long term goal so I’m not running to please or prove anything to anyone but myself. I rather take my time to do it right than to rush and have to do it over.
Well, with that being said, I knew I had a goal to retire from my company by age 55 if not sooner. I wasn’t sure what career path I wanted to switch too to make this happen until April. I was talking to my son and a friend and through those conversations I made it up in my mind to take another risk and huge step. I stepped out and signed up and completed the process to become a License Florida Real Estate Agent. This new journey I see putting me in position to create a business that would allow me to create more personal flexible time for myself and spend with family, several streams of income, and most importantly a income that would allow me to retire in the timeframe I desire. I do understand in order for this to become a true reality, I must put in the work to build this business and I am up to the challenge and making it happen.
When I started my Entrepreneur journey I never thought it would turn into what it is today. I just started doing things that helped others and it started flowing into more and other things. But today, I am building myself as a strong brand, a household name and person with honestly and integrity willing to assist to help resolve problems for my clients or customers through any of my businesses.
Remember the life style you want is obtainable, you just have to take the necessary risk and put in the necessary work to live it!
