This year, Leer es Florecer Studios is donating 10% of all royalties to Superación Integral para la Mujer (S.I.M). This is a brand new organization in San Miguel de Allende, MX. I had the opportunity to speak with Amy, the organizer of S.I.M, who shared with me what they are about:
- They offer Spanish, math, and English classes to women aged 15+.
-They educate women on feminine hygiene, how to handle stress, entrepreneurship, and more.
- They are molding the program to fit the culture and lives of the women. They are not there to "offer the American way", but instead to meet them where they are and capacitate them with the skills they need to advance in life.
The mission of this organization goes hand in hand with my second book, "Reina". I am so excited to see S.I.M flourish!

Este año, Leer es Florecer Studios donará el 10% de sus regalías a Superación Integral para la Mujer (S.I.M). Esta es una organización completamente nueva en San Miguel de Allende, México. Tuve la oportunidad de hablar con Amy, la organizadora de S.I.M, quien me contó sobre su trabajo:
- Ofrecen clases de español, matemáticas e inglés a mujeres mayores de 15 años.
- Educan a las mujeres sobre higiene femenina, manejo del estrés, emprendimiento y más.
- Están adaptando el programa a la cultura y la vida de las mujeres. No están ahí para "ofrecer el estilo de vida americano", sino para verlas en su situación actual y capacitarlas con las habilidades que necesitan para progresar en la vida.
La misión de esta organización va de mano en mano con mi segundo libro, "Reina". ¡Estoy muy emocionada para ver a S.I.M prosperar!
