How does it work?
Once you've applied and been approved as a Letter Lore Affiliate, you'll be able to earn 10% from any affiliate sales you make on our Gifted Membership product.
Are there any requirements to apply?
Yes - we require an affiliate to have (or have had) a Letter Lore membership, whether it was full access, monthly, or gifted.
To ensure your application for the affiliate program is approved, please apply using the same email address as your membership login.
Are there any minimums or limits?
There are no minimum sales or payout limits.
Whether you helped sell 1 Gifted Membership or 100, you'll receive payment for the number you sold.
When and how will payment be handled?
When you're approved as a Letter Lore Affiliate, you'll be asked to enter a PayPal email address for your payment.
Our web system automatically creates an affiliate link for you, and tracks your sales, which you'll also be able to track from your dashboard.
On the 1st of every month, we'll review our affiliate's sales reports for the previous month, and between the 1st-10th of every month, we'll send out payments via PayPal for the previous month's sales.
Can affiliates request custom discount codes to incentivize sales?
Yes!
If you'd like a custom code for 10% off to share with your audience, please reach out to us by email (hello@letterlore.com) to request one.
Please note that your affiliate commission is automatically calculated on the final order total after discount.
This means that when a customer uses a discount code (either from you, us, or a referral discount), your affiliate commission will be lower on that sale because the total order amount is lower.
For example:
10% on $50 = $5 commission
10% on $40 = $4 commission
However, because discounts can sometimes bring in more orders, you could end up making more in total with customers using a discount code simply because there are more people wanting to purchase when there is a discount.
Some other info to know before you apply:
- We encourage dialogue and communication with our customers and our affiliates - please reach out to us by email if you feel there has been any error or misunderstanding in the process of our transactions.
- Not all of our digital products are available for affiliate commissions - just the Gifted Memberships.
- Our product availability and price (both on our site and via the affiliate program) may change at any time, without notice.
- Affiliate commissions are calculated automatically by Payhip ( on the total sales amount AFTER any discounts, coupons, promos, etc. Our prices (and payments) are in USD.
- Since affiliate sales are tracked by Payhip, their reports will be compared with our Stripe reports in the event of any discrepancy. However, we do encourage our affiliates to reach out to us by email if you feel there has been an error in payment.
- PayPal may charge you a fee for you to receive payment from us. Please note that we are not responsible for this fee, nor for any resulting deductions from the process of sending your sales payout.
- Applying to be a Letter Lore Affiliate does not guarantee approval. We review all applications within 5-10 business days, and may reach out by email if we have questions for you.
- We reserve the right to close individual affiliate accounts, or the affiliate program as a whole, at any time, without notice. Any owed earnings payout(s) will be honored.
- These terms may be added to, changed, or revoked at any time without notice.
- Applying to be a Letter Lore Affiliate constitutes an agreement to these terms.
