Robert Bullock, author-illustrator, had previously designed interactive educational exhibits at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History, the Peabody Museum at Yale, and Pennsylvania’s State Museum, all which house renown habitat dioramas, the inspiration for the Wilderness Habitat Discovery Journal series. Bullock then taught ESL at Liaocheng University, Shandong Province, China, where he was called Mr. Robert. Presently, Bullock continues to produce the WHDJ series and develop other educational projects for young readers and learners to improve inquiry and comprehension skills and promote an awareness for nature.
