For years, I worked behind the scenes in university admissions, reviewing applications, reading personal statements, and helping decide who gets that offer letter. I know what makes an application stand out—and just as importantly, what keeps prospective students "stuck".
Why I Started My Admissions Pal
After years of working in admissions, I kept seeing the same thing: smart, motivated students sending in applications that didn’t reflect their full potential. Not because they weren’t capable—but because no one ever taught them how to research, apply, and follow up on their applications in a way Canadian universities expect.
Even the brightest students can miss out on offers simply because they didn’t understand how the system really works. That’s why I created My Admissions Pal—to give students like you real, insider-backed guidance and support.
What Makes Me Different
There are a lot of people online offering admissions advice. But I’ve actually:
- Worked as an admissions officer at three Canadian universities
- Reviewed hundreds of transcripts from international students since 2014
- Seen what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to grades, pre-requisites, document submission and how to ask for guidance
- Built resources based on what I’ve learned from the inside
