Nadya Stallings was born and raised in the Urals of Russia, where every season is long-awaited and has its own charm.
She moved to the United States to marry and now lives in northeastern Ohio with her husband, Rory. After a thirty-year career in the fields of education and speech therapy, she has ventured into designing knitwear full-time. In love with fashion, Nadya creates unique garments with varied and sometimes unconventional methods of construction.
When she isn’t knitting, Nadya can be found reading, sewing, gardening, painting with watercolors, and singing and playing piano, or (more often) listenning to music.
Nadya is an Orthodox Christian; a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.
