I've made a decision—only those who lift me up will have access to my energy. I've chosen to engage only in activities that open and activate my heart chakra. As I explore my spiritual journey, I'm also learning what it truly means to experience the spiritual realm in this physical world. It’s a journey that has left me trying to grasp the unseen forces at play around me every day. I had no idea how these demonic spirits could attach themselves to people, often those closest to you, targeting the ones whose vibrations are at their lowest.
I never realized just how many demonic entities I was battling daily through my interactions with others.
One particular day brought everything into sharper focus—it was the day I truly understood how powerful I am in fighting these spiritual attacks, but also how easily people can carry these dark energies, whose sole purpose is to drag you down to their lower vibrations.
I was sitting on the couch in my mother’s living room, peacefully exploring new TV options, when I felt an inexplicable pull towards a movie. Something told me I needed to watch it, and I did. That movie gave me exactly what I needed at that moment. Not long after, my mother mentioned that a relative—one I’ve intentionally distanced myself from due to their erratic behavior—wanted my contact information. I reminded her I wasn’t interested. As soon as my mother walked away, a question nagged at me: Why does this person want to reach out? After everything that happened, reconciliation is the last thing on my mind.
Then, the doorbell rang. With my mind elsewhere, I was putting my daughters to bed when I heard a knock, followed by the door creaking open. It was the relative! I immediately asked them to close the door, explaining I was busy with the children. They shut the door, but I was already pacing, my thoughts racing. *Did my mother set me up? Did she invite them over knowing full well I wanted no contact? Why would she do that?

Eventually, I left the room and found my mother and the relative together. The relative hugged me before I could even react, saying, "Oh, hug me, I miss you!" I responded with a firm, "No, what’s up? What are you doing here?" I can't even recall their response; I just remember my energy shifting in that moment. Confused and uneasy, I left the room, upset that my personal space had been so blatantly invaded.
Although the relative didn’t stay long, the negative energy they brought lingered long after they left.
I saged the house and asked my mother if she had set me up or invited them over. She giggled and assured me she would never do that, knowing how I felt. But that night, I tossed and turned, unable to shake a deep unease. The next day was even worse—mentally and emotionally, I was drained. I felt irritable and heard a voice, clear as day, telling me I hated myself, that I was stuck, sick, and would never make it out. It was the creepiest thing I’ve ever experienced. Suddenly, I felt sick—not the regular kind of sick, but something deeper. My head ached unbearably, my body was in pain, and I was overwhelmingly tired. How could I have gone from feeling so peaceful and healthy the day before to this? The voice in my head wasn’t a whisper; it was as if someone was right there, speaking directly to me, affirming all these low-vibrational, negative thoughts. I knew something was terribly wrong. Sage wasn’t enough; this entity was powerful and seemed ancient as if it had been feeding off people for a long time. I truly thought I was losing my mind.
But I wasn’t. I was being shown the reality of the spiritual realm, and it was time to face it head-on.
Four Steps to Becoming More Aware of the Spiritual Realm and Overcoming Negative Attachments:
1. Elevate Your Vibration: The first step in becoming more aware of the spiritual realm is to raise your vibration. Engage in activities that uplift your spirit—meditation, spending time in nature, or practicing gratitude. The higher your vibration, the harder it is for negative entities to attach to you.
2. Strengthen Your Spiritual Boundaries: Just as you set boundaries in the physical world, it's crucial to establish boundaries in the spiritual realm. Visualize a protective barrier around you, and consciously choose who and what you allow into your space. This mental practice can act as a spiritual shield against negative forces.
3. Cleanse Your Energy Regularly: Negative energy can cling to you from various interactions, so it’s important to cleanse yourself regularly. Sage, crystals, and salt baths are all effective methods. However, when dealing with more powerful entities, you might need to call on higher spiritual help, such as prayer or working with a spiritual healer.
4. Tune Into Your Intuition: Your intuition is your inner guide, helping you navigate the spiritual world. Pay attention to those gut feelings or inner voices that alert you to potential dangers. The more you trust and act on your intuition, the stronger it becomes, guiding you safely through the unseen world around you.
As you navigate your spiritual journey, remember that you have the power to overcome any negative attachments. By elevating your vibration, setting clear boundaries, regularly cleansing your energy, and trusting your intuition, you can protect yourself and thrive in both the seen and unseen worlds.
