Shaunice Emory

Shaunice Emory born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but was raised in Gary, Indiana. She attended Emerson Visual and Performing Arts for creative writing her junior and senior year. She is now a 21 years young sophomore at Indiana University Northwest, majoring in Communications. Emory Lives with her mother Tameeka, her niece Tamia, her sister Taleshia, and her boyfriend Jalil. Emory has been writing since the age of 13, creating short stories and poems just to vent, but as she got older and read more books, she got into Emerson VPA and became a more descriptive writer, being that Emerson focuses on your talent. Her favorite books to read are “ the other woman” by Eric Jerome Dickey and “ if men cheat, all women should too” by Lashonda DeVaughn.
