Previously, the passages were narratives with embedded conversations, but starting in 2025, they will include speeches with embedded personal recounts.
Stimulus-Based Conversation
Previously, they used posters, choices, and character-based pictures. From 2025, they will use photographs that capture a moment in time.
Students will find this stimulus-based question familiar, as it is included in their specimen paper from SEAB.
However, we have added bonus questions designed to encourage your child to think from a broader perspective. This approach will enrich their answers, demonstrating higher-level thinking processes, which will ultimately help them score better.
