Robert Seviour was born in London, UK. Aged 8 he developed skills in mental arithmetic and bomb-making and built a small jet-engine in his dad’s garage. Failing the 11 + exam, he was sent to a distant public school which featured nude swimming for boys and a girls’ school with which no contact was allowed.
He is qualified in welding, holds a professional pilots licence, speaks 4 languages, likes real-ale and cats, and was once arrested by pygmies in central Africa for being rude, then deported. His short flying career ended when he crashed his plane at Basle Mulhouse Airport in France.
