Sharnissa Washington is a take-charge leader, speaker, writer, entrepreneur and educator who expertly balances career, ministry and business. In 2006, Sharnissa accepted the call to ministry and has since delivered numerous sermons of hope and purpose. Sharnissa shares her story of sexual abuse, women issues and forgiveness with a rarely seen transparency and because of that, people gravitate to her. Sharnissa is an astute evangelist and has been integral in the success of many major evangelism projects. She currently serves as the outreach director of her local church and continues to serve both nationally and internationally. She is the founder of W.E.L.L.Y., a women’s group designed to empower, encourage and educate women. She is the writer of the Girlzs R’ Pearlzs Curriculum, a curriculum structured to encourage self-worth, self-esteem and positive self-concepts among adolescent girls. She is the owner of Kingdom Citizen Boutique and is soon to release her first book, "Dear Singles Sisters: Let’s Talk About It." She holds a BA in Primary Education and a MA in Curriculum & Instruction. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
