Sis, Your Innocence Wasn’t the End of Your Story
Hey Sis,
Sometimes I think about how many of us never really got to be “innocent” in the way childhood should have been. Maybe your story looks different than mine, but I know this: the enemy has been plotting against us since before we even entered this world.
But here’s the truth the devil doesn’t want you to remember—Jesus knew you before you were even formed.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 NIV)
Nothing that was stolen from you caught God by surprise. Not your heartbreak. Not your trauma. Not the places where you still feel broken. And still… He chose you. You are not forgotten.
The enemy’s agenda has always been the same:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV)
But Sis, God is rewriting the script. Broken doesn’t mean unusable. Weak doesn’t mean forgotten. He’s about to remind you that He has already placed strength inside of you — strength you didn’t even know you had.
Here’s what I’ve learned: you don’t always know someone’s story by looking at them. But you can always feel their spirit. And God is about to bring your tribe — your real, God-sent community — right to your door.
Healing doesn’t have to be a lonely walk anymore.
So breathe deep, Sis. Your innocence may have been stolen, but your identity is still secure in Him. This is not the end of your story — it’s just the beginning of a new chapter.
With love,
LaSasha
