💞 Why Intimacy Fades — And How to Rise in Love Again

We’ve always been affectionate.

Touchy, loving, connected.

But there was a season — while living in a communal house at a conscious community in Costa Rica — when we stopped making love.

Not because we didn’t want to.

Not because something was wrong between us.

But because we were constantly holding space, constantly surrounded by community members and visitors, and lacking capacity to connect.

What we learned in that time — and what eventually brought us back to each other — is this:

💡 Intimacy doesn’t fade because love is gone. It fades for a multitude of reasons - the most important being your nervous system's capacity for connection!

As an example, often times new moms don't want sex not because they don't love their husbands, but because their 'touch bucket' is already full from being with their baby.

Or, in our case, our 'connection buckets' were already full from being around so many people all the time!

So here's a simple truth:

When the nervous system is overloaded, we disconnect.

Not just from our partner, but from our own heart, body, and desires.

What saved us was a simple, sacred practice: a weekly check-in where we dropped into presence, listened deeply, and re-learned how to prioritize our love-making again. We also ended up leaving the community, because they weren't willing to accommodate this deep need of ours...

That practice helped us reconnect and stay connected — emotionally, mentally, and eventually, sexually, throughout our many cycles in the last 6+ years of sacred union.

And now, we’re sharing it through our upcoming Beta Launch program 'Root to Rise', created specifically to support couples in moving from disconnection, shutdown, or surface-level intimacy — to safety, turn-on, and deep, devotional love.

In this program, you will receive this very same FOUNDATIONAL PRACTICE that must be present in every relationship in order for intimacy to stay present and healthy.

We would love to have you there with us and please spread the word!

First cohort begins on July 5th, 2025.
