In today's world run by the human mind (for most people), the body often gets ignored.
Even if we have a 'workout routine', we may move our body being only partly conscious of it's needs, responses and tension.
Then add centuries of intergenerational trauma - unprocessed grief from world wars, suppressed emotions, and the survival-driven wiring of our parents and grandparents - and you get modern-day humans who are afraid to feel, to soften, and to truly be in their bodies.
This is understandable - when we first 'come down' into our bodies from our heads - it may feel very uncomfortable. Old pains, tensions, discomfort suddenly become oh so apparent and it feels bad. Just like a river that has been dried up for a while, the energy that moves through the body needs to be properly re-activated and ran through all the energy lines, organs, tissues, etc.
So, if you resist movement because it doesn't feel good - we get it! This is how it is for most humans who are not regularly active or practice embodiment.
However, if you are here, it means you are interested in developing a deeper connection with yourself, your partner and Life in general - through learning and practicing sacred intimacy, sexuality and embodiment.
And that is why we are here - to awaken love through sacred embodiment!
From our Part 2 Webinar, we learnt that Embodiment is being present in your body and Self-Love is having your own back.
Both of these take time, care, commitment and practice to cultivate within ourselves.
If you are ready to begin to walk the talk of your devotion to this path - keep joining us for the Embodiment Classes that we facilitate in 'Living Tantra', our free MeetUp Community.
