About Me
Oereishi Aeoma (JC) is a creative and philanthropic force dedicated to connecting and empowering all with the powers that be. A graduate of Ithaca College with a bachelor’s degree in Audio and Film Production, Aeoma’s work spans music, film, writing, singing, and storytelling—all rooted in a mission to uplift and inspire.
In 2024, Aeoma released two books: Being, a collection of poetry, and Bird Band, a genre-blending work that challenges the boundaries of fiction. He is also a graduate of the Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS) Legacy Academy and was a featured storyteller at Funda Fest 27. His poetry and performances have been featured at multiple venues across Rhode Island, including the We All Live Here Together exhibition at the Providence Public Library.
In 2025, Aeoma was selected as a Writer in Residence for the Linden Place Writers in Residence Cohort. Through all his endeavors, he continues to champion creativity as a force for unity and transformation.
Aeoma encourages all to dream, know, and trust—for, as he affirms, “what one seeks is not out of the realm of possibilities.”
