Corine is the owner and founder of The Self Publishing University. She is an Award Winning Author, Speaker, Consultant, Publisher and Radio Host. She comes from a creative background, drawing and painting and sold some of her works in art galleries. She is the proud mother of two wonderful sons. In her free time, you can find her Latin dancing, writing, enjoying the movies, spending time with friends, reading or meditating. She began her career in the teaching profession in Trinidad. As an artist, her creative skills extended to writing which flourished when she pursued becoming a Self Publishing Consultant just at the time when Traditional Publishing was on the verge of extinction with the advent of the internet and Ebooks. She saw the opportunity to put her skills to use and became the first person to be certified and trained in the Caribbean. She added complimentary skills such as virtual events, social media and online marketing as she secured her position in the industry together with writing for a major newspaper in Jamaica - the Jamaica Gleaner. This led to many other opportunities and accomplishments such as becoming an author, winning the Small Business Awards, Ohio, 2013 and being featured on Television Jamaica, 'Smile Jamaica' and a Guest Expert on the prime time TV show, 'The Innovators'. Her career has opened the doors to the speaking arena not only for Self Publishing, writing and marketing but also coaching persons to start an online business and now 'Women in Toxic Relationships'. Corine has personally authored her own books and is a contributing author to 'Office for One'. She has two books coming out soon - 'The Role of a Mistress' and 'I deserve Better'
