TBW-2 Freebies and upcoming releases

So after 20+ people read the first blog post (I expected 5 tops), I thought I'd regale you with more. The Butchered Writers have been busy editing, formatting, making covers, and more for The Best of Terror Monthly. This volume will contain the best stories from 13 of our volumes over the last year! It'll be released sometime in the next 2-3 weeks and the eBook will be FREE in our store for a month. It'll also be on Amazon (not for free, Amazon is meh that way), and we're working on going wide with this one, so hopefully we'll have it available in plenty of other stores.

Also in the works is our new series of anthologies. It's kind of a rebrand. Our editors were killing themselves to get Terror Monthly out monthly. So we're looking at quarterly releases, and maybe some fun side projects to go along. Sadly, since we're not monthly anymore, we won't be using the Terror Monthly title. We've decided to go with The Butchered Writers Present and the insert said name of anthology. The first one will be NIGHTMARES. The stories are being written and edited as you're reading this. The release will be the last day of March.

As if that weren't enough, we are republishing quite a few of the original Terror Monthly volumes. The eBook, Paperback, and Hardcover for Volume 1: Santa Claus is already up in the Amazon store. I have purchased the Hardcovers for Vol 1 and Vol 12-What Lurks In The Deep- and I will say that they are beautiful. Brooke Lockman did the cover art for both of these volumes. Look her up on FB or reach out to us if you'd like to get in touch with her. She's an incredible artist and she's always making fantastic covers.

So that's about it for what's going on book-wise. As far as the writers are concerned, they're busy writing for Nightmares and the following volume, Mix-tape. Some of our writers have their own anthologies, short stories, novelettes, novels and more. I'll plug more for them as we go.

Chat this week has been fun as usual. Colt is signing a contract for a story with SOOP (Something Or Other Publishing) which is cool. I wish that guy nothing but the best. Sarah does incredible woodworking jobs; Hall Trees, benches, etc. for some wealthy folks out in Arizona. Andy is writing, and writing, and writing. His nickname is RoboWriter. It's incredible really.

Talk about dating sites circulated chat early in the week, which led to some odd conversations, but funny as usual. I'm also concerned that the move Twilight gets brought up too often in conversation. We're horror writers, is that healthy for us?
