I recently had the opportunity of photographing a successful networking event in Williamsburg, VA hosted by Capital Carpet & Services, the go-to floor cleaning service in Hampton Roads. This fun evening out was a great chance to meet local business owners and learn more about their brands.
The "Spring Meet & Greet" was co-hosted by Kelton Station Apartments at their beautiful clubhouse, which made a great space for sponsors to show off their brands and business owners to mingle and munch.

As you can see photographs are a great addition to any corporate event. Showing off events with visual content, like photographs, can help increase online presence, engage an audience, and build brand awareness.
With the increasing importance of digital content, corporate event photography has become more important than ever. Event Photography is an excellent way to document the occasion in a way that shows off the essence of the people and atmosphere.
My favorite part of events is capturing a company's brand and message. Capital Carpet & Services, which hosted this evening of networking, is owned by Butch Beckman. Butch is a humble, easygoing guy who values quality customer service and good character. His friendly demeanor and eagerness to serve others were evident from the way he engaged each guest.
It was cool to see how the people who attended fit in so well with Butch and his company, a great example of how properly branding yourself and your business can attract the type of people you want to work with.

Business & Marketing Strategist - Marilen Crump & Corporate Event Host - Danielle Goodman.
Marilen and Danielle went above and beyond by setting up a beautiful assortment of delicious food. Hosting events like meet and greets can provide an opportunity to showcase your business to potential customers and engage with the community to establish relationships with other local businesses. That's where Danielle and Marilen shine.
Oftentimes, business owners don't have time to strategically plan events and certainly don't have the time to set them up while simultaneously engaging their guests. That's when having a professional can come in handy. Just like hiring a professional photographer for events makes life easier, so does hiring a marketing strategist and corporate event host, like Marilen and Danielle.
Butch was able to focus on being a host by engaging with his guests because he had a team of pros on his side. Capital Carpet's super-savvy Business & Marketing Strategist, Marilen Crump promoted the event and coordinated all of the details. While the amazing Corporate Event Host, Danielle Goodman helped set up food and arrange the room. Their talents combined made for an enjoyable evening for all who attended.
Speaking of enjoyable, the night wouldn't have been the same without the relaxing chair massages offered by Blackwell Self Care Solutions. Allen Blackwell did an excellent job at helping guests unwind with free neck and shoulder massages - such a great way to show up as the face of his brand.
You may remember Allen from his branding photoshoot with me last year, or maybe you've seen him at a Showbride event. Where ever he is you will usually see him smiling! Allen is a warm, genuinely happy person who loves his job. He comes highly recommended and can often be found attending events ready to help guests unwind.
Professional event photography captures the energy and excitement of the occasion, providing businesses with valuable images to use on their social media, websites, and other marketing platforms. I believe this event was a great example of how photos help to tell a story. These images help create a visual of who attended, what was happening, and how the guests enjoyed the food, conversations, and ambiance.
This Meet & Greet makes it easy to see that Capital Carpet & Services truly cares about quality and relationships. Everyone who attended seemed to enjoy themselves, I know I sure did. Thank you to Capital Carpets for putting together a fun night of networking!
