Community, Spirit, and Stories

Today, our family and community come together for one of the highlights of the season—the Emerson Football Community Pep Rally! 💙🏈 From the cheering crowds to the sea of spirit wear, there’s something powerful about gathering to celebrate our kids, their hard work, and the pride of being part of something bigger than ourselves.

For me, as both a football mom and the heart behind Tiny Tee Books, it’s a reminder that community spirit and storytelling go hand in hand. Just like pep rallies build energy and unity, books build connection and belonging. Both are traditions that strengthen families, friendships, and futures.

When we read with our children, we’re giving them the same kind of encouragement they hear in the stands: You can do this. We believe in you. We’re proud of you.

📖 Big Feelings, Little Me helps our little ones process emotions just like athletes prepare mentally for the big game.

📚 Learn to Potty with Me shows them that small steps matter—and every win deserves celebration.

💛 Little One, You Look Like Me reminds children that they belong, that they are seen, and that their uniqueness is worth cheering for.

Tiny Tee Tip for Parents:

Take a page from pep rally traditions and create your own family cheer! Whether it’s a chant before bedtime stories or a clap-and-repeat affirmation in the mornings, give your kids words of encouragement they’ll carry into every part of their day:

“I am smart. I am strong. I am loved. I can do anything!”

Today, as the band plays, the crowd claps, and the lights shine on the field, I’m reminded that both on and off the field, our children deserve a team of love, support, and belief behind them. And at Tiny Tee Books, that’s exactly the kind of community we’re building—one story at a time.
