Story

Julia works as a business administrator and, interestingly enough, she already had some experience with foot injuries. The last time, she had broken her foot and had to wear an SLWC cast, which became the talk of the office for weeks. She got pampered, received lots of attention, and even enjoyed a bit of the unintentional charm that came with the cast.

This time, the accident was much sillier. Julia was at home when she awkwardly twisted her ankle while getting off the couch. It wasn’t anything serious, but the pain worried her. Just to be safe, she went to the hospital.

At the hospital, the doctor ordered an X-ray to rule out any fractures. As soon as the results came back confirming it was just a mild sprain, Julia was sent to the casting room.

She walked in already laughing and greeted the doctor with her usual good humor:

— Well, look who’s hurt again!

The doctor, who already recognized her from previous visits, smiled and explained her options:

— We can put you in a walking boot, like a robofoot... or, if you prefer, we can do a traditional cast.

Julia didn’t hesitate. She immediately remembered how much attention her last cast had drawn at work. The curious stares… even the chocolates she got from sympathetic coworkers. With a confident smile, she said:

— I want the cast!

The doctor asked her to sit down. He carefully removed Julia’s shoes and started the procedure. Since her ankle wasn’t swollen and the sprain was light, she didn’t feel any pain during the application.

While waiting for the cast to dry, Julia grabbed her phone and called her cousin—the same one who had been her official helper the last time. As soon as her cousin heard the story, she burst out laughing:

— Oh my God, Julia! You really are clumsy!

A few minutes later, with the cast fully set, the doctor brought her a pair of crutches. Julia thanked him, ordered an Uber, and headed home.

The video starts with her arriving at her apartment.
