When you start creating and want to share what you do – whether it’s music, photos, writing, videos, or something completely different – that question often pops up:
“How do I come across as taken seriously?”
We’ve been taught so much about how “right” should look.
Sometimes we try to build a version of ourselves that fits in. Sounds right. Looks right. But doesn’t feel like us.
And when we go too far from who we really are – we don’t just get tired. We become… invisible.
✨ There’s another way.
Build your visibility from the inside out.
Create in a way that’s truly you.
🌿 This could mean:
– Using your own colors, your own style
– Being open about still finding your words
– Not feeling like you have to look perfect every day
– Talking to your audience as people, not a “target”
– Showing unpolished sides – but authentically
I’ve been there myself.
Trying to be a “polished version” online. Fitting in.
It only made me feel invisible.
Now I try something different: showing myself as I am.
And it opens up things in a completely new way.
💬 One thought for you:
What if what you are – is exactly what makes someone feel:
“Finally, someone who gets me.”
💡 You don’t need all the answers now.
But you can start asking yourself:
– How do I want it to feel to create as myself?
– What small things am I ready to let go of?
– What am I curious to try instead?
