Meet the Author
My name is Anne WestWood, and I write character-driven stories that explore truth, trauma, and resilience.
My debut novel, Where the Root Splits, is an intriguing survival thriller, set to release in July 2025. It’s a haunting story about memory, survival, and the strength it takes to reclaim your voice when no one’s listening.
Writing has always been my escape—a way to make sense of chaos. I’m drawn to raw emotion, tense atmospheres, and stories that linger long after the last page.
When I’m not writing, I’m with my fiancé and our dog, Honeybee, enjoying the quiet life in the Midwest. I spend as much time as possible outdoors, and with the ones who matter most to me.
I hold a degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Management—both of which have been unexpectedly helpful when it comes to writing layered characters and navigating self-publishing.
No matter the genre, I write with one goal: to pull you in and leave you craving more. And I truly hope to do just that!
This is just the beginning of the many stories I have to tell.
