Hamsters

Most members of this group share a few characteristics. They have stout, or even round, bodies, with short limbs and short tails. Their fur comes in a variety of colors, including white, brown, black, red, grey, and more. Depending on the species, adults range in size. These rodents measure anywhere from about 2 inches to 13 inches long. At their heaviest, some species can reach nearly a pound.
