Learners will gain insight into how to select, use, and understand the limitations of PPE according to different workplace hazards. Special attention is given to respiratory protection, including when it is required under OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.134. The course also explains the fundamental components of an effective respiratory protection program, such as fit testing, maintenance, and correct usage.
