The work was commissioned by American flautist Rebecca Jeffreys for herself with piano accompaniment and was premiered by Eva Belicová, flute, and Karin Remencová, piano at the Concert Hall of the Academy of Music, Bratislava, Slovakia on 30 May 2017.
Senahh was recorded by Rebecca Jeffreys, flute, and Alexander Timofeev, piano for their album 'Friends in Common Time', released in 2018.
